WATCH: Naval Academy’s first-ever virtual graduation and commissioning ceremony

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Naval Academy’s will hold its first-ever virtual graduation and commissioning ceremony Friday.

The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a tribute to the Class of 2020, and the ceremony will begin at 3 p.m.

Recorded segments from five in-person swearing-in events held at the Academy over the last week, will also play.

Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper will give a pre-recorded keynote address along with Acting Secretary of the Navy James E. McPherson and other U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. commanders.

The ceremony will be streamed live here.

All swearing-in events are closed to guests, including parents, family members, media, and members of the public.
