RODRIGUEZ LIVE FIRE COMPLEX, South Korea – The top U.S. military commander in Korea met with American Soldiers from the Hawaii-based 25th Infantry Division here, April 12.

Gen. James D. Thurman, commander of United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command and U.S. Forces Korea, met with Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.

In support of the Foal Eagle exercise, the 25th ID Soldiers participated in an exercise with a Republic of Korea Army tank platoon at this range near the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

Foal Eagle is a field training exercise that is held around the same time every year.

During the annual exercise, Army units from the United States practice integrating into operations on the Korean Peninsula.
