FORT LEE, Va. (Oct. 18, 2012) — Twenty-four of the Army’s warriors, representing 12 commands from across the Army, reported to Fort Lee, Va., Oct. 15, 2012, to compete in the 2012 Best Warrior Competition.

Described as the “Super Bowl” of Army competitions, the Best Warrior will celebrate its eleventh anniversary this year. Sgt. Maj. of the Army Raymond F. Chandler III oversees the annual three-day event, which names the Department of the Army’s Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year.
